ORLANDO, FLA (March 10, 2008) — Correct Craft’s Team Nautique athletes Jaret Llewellyn and Chris Parrish had impressive wins at Moomba Masters in Melbourne, Australia.
Llewellyn, a nine time world champion, took the 2008 Moomba Masters Jump title beating out Freddy Krueger by three tenths of a meter and fellow Team Nautique skier Jason Seels finished third. Llewellyn also placed second in tricks with a score of 10,740 points. Just last weekend Llewellyn jumped 70.4 meters to break both the New Zealand and Southern Hemisphere ski jump records at the 2008 Lake Crichton Pro-Am.
In the men’s slalom Parrish finished with a score of 2@10.25m in a run off winning by just half a buoy for the 2008 Moomba Masters Slalom title. Team Nautique newcomer Brooks Wilson placed second in junior men slalom.
Correct Craft’s President/CEO, Bill Yeargin stated “This was a great start for Team Nautique; I’m looking forward to the rest of the season. It takes an incredible amount of training to win events and Team Nautique athletes get their edge from training behind the industry’s best boats.” Yeargin added, “The entire Nautique family is proud to be represented by not only Jaret, Chris Jason and Brooks but also the many others on Team Nautique.”
