Last month Team Nautique rider Scott Byerly took delivery of his 2008 Super Air Nautique 210 - Icon Edition. This is a one-of-a-kind boat in which Byerly was personally involved throughout each step of the design and development processes. Byerly is showcasing his new 210 - Icon Edition while on tour this summer. Recently, at the Acworth, GA Pro Wakeboard Tour stop, we were able to get video footage of Byerly and his new Nautique.

The four qualifying Ski Nautique Big Dawg (SNBD) tournaments pit up to 50 skiers in heart-pounding, head-to-head competition, all vying for a cash prize and a chance to advance to the finals in Orlando, FL on September 27th-28th. Over $24,000 in cash and contingencies from HO Sports and PCM will be up for grabs this year. The top competitor will claim $5,000 and the Ski Nautique Big Dawg title.

Team Nautique skier Chris Parrish has been skiing from the early age of 2. Since he took up professional water skiing 19 years ago, Chris has built up a stellar record which includes 2 Masters Champion titles, 2 World Records, 8 National Champion titles, World Cup Champion and US Open Champion. Recently, we had the opportunity to talk to Parrish about his thoughts on being the current Slalom World Record holder and his favorite skiing events.

The 49th Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament was a huge hit. The world's top watersports athletes gathered together over Memorial Day weekend, at Callaway Gardens, in Pine Mountain, Georgia for an action-packed weekend full of competition. The weekend detailed sky divers from Red Bull during the finals opening ceremony as well as an awards banquet to honor the Masters champions.
The 49th Masters may be over, but the 50th Anniversary is right around the corner and we are already making big plans for this exciting milestone. So mark your calendars for the 2009 Masters, next Memorial Day Weekend, May 22nd - 24th. This tournament is sure to be an event that you will not want to miss!
