This weekend daylight savings time starts and in just a couple of weeks it will be spring. Soon we will all be able to enjoy our Nautiques every weekend, not just those of us who are lucky enough to live in a warm part of the world!

Though I admit to looking forward to spring I must also admit that the Nautique team has had a great winter.

We kicked off our Nautique Production System. The Nautique Production system is a combination of all the extra attention that makes Nautiques special with new Lean Six Sigma techniques that will make us even better. Since kicking off the Nautique Production System we have already seen an increase in the already legendary Nautique quality.

The boats shows were great with everyone loving our new 08 product. Show after show the Nautique booth was full of people looking at our boats and admiring both their incredible quality and our changes for 08. To those of you who either I or someone on our team had the opportunity to meet at one of the many shows across the country; thank you for stopping by to say hi. To the many of you who bought a new Nautique during the boat show season, welcome to the family! You are going to love your new Nautique.

Also this winter Nautiques by Correct Craft was awarded our 6th straight JD Power award. Our team was encouraged by this award and the related data to know that people who buy Nautiques are getting real value for their money. While we want to be good marketers, it is more important for us to know that people select us not for marketing glitz but for real value they can enjoy. Six straight wins means that Nautiques are real quality our customers can count on, not just sometimes but year after year.

Finally, this winter we introduced our new website and the response to it has been overwhelmingly positive. We are happy that people are enjoying the new site and look forward to making it even better in the future.

As spring approaches and the water starts warming up, or thawing, depending on where you are, let’s all look forward to the incredible fun we are going to have this year with our friends and family in our Nautiques.
