I have written before about the wonderful service work done by Nautique employees and athletes. It is great to work with people who really care about helping others.

This past week over 100 Nautique employees served at the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida. The Coalition for the Homeless is a great organization that provides shelter every night for up to 840 homeless people in downtown Orlando. Being there with our employees was an incredible experience.

In addition to providing shelter, the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida also provides opportunities for the people they serve to improve themselves through counseling, training or helping them get their GEDs. This is the second time we have served at their facility but our team continues to be impressed by all they do to help those in need.

Over the past year Nautique employees have served here in Orlando at Give Kids the World (an organization helping children with critical illnesses), Habitat for Humanity and other venues. We have also taken groups of employees on mission trips to serve others in both Mexico and Nicaragua.

At Nautique we want to be known as the builder of the world’s best towboats. However, along the way we also want to serve others and do our best to make the world a little better place.
